JEROME RICHARDS LIMITED was founded in October 2005 and started from down town Kampala on Wilson Road. It started as a two man agency on the local market scene trying to do things differently.

The idea to start professional Real Estate Agency was borne out of experiences of the first two Directors then (Reagan & Richard) life living abroad with plans to change this business practices from local to professional ways.

We absolutely never had an idea of how the property markets in Uganda operated but we were determined to learn on the job. With time we invested in doing alot of fieldwork visits to the different urban and suburban areas. We ensured that we set a stand in management and its no surprise that we continue to do business with landlords we met from the very beginning.

In 2007, we formed our 2nd office at the Grand Imperial Mall to try and reach out to our corporate clients. During this time, we became phenomenon with our unique ways of advertising our business both using our cars and in the mass media. This gave us mileage with our cars code named “no.1 & no.2). We laid business strategy with the local brokers in and around the suburbs of Kampala city, no wonder we stayed at this address for 16years specializing in Residential Lettings, Sales & Management.

However the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in Uganda in March 2020 brought about our desire to change our business model and hence led us to opt for change of address to our new offices at Akamwesi Mall in Kyebando, still in Kampala. Our approach now is to reach out to our customers who are more on the ground and we continue to recruit new staff to manage our growing property portfolio.

From April 2021, we have changed our website three times and continue to re-model our business to meet local needs of our customers and we remain hopeful to create an impact on the local property scene. We continue to operate an open door policy, which means we attract people from all walks of life.

Our promise is that we will revolutionize property business in all the divisions of Kampala, that is Kawempe, Makindye, Lubaga, Nakawa and Kampala Central and our emphasis will be to attract as many landlords and tenants using our in-house property App called “MY JEROME RICHARDS”
